A Creatrix is defined as “the originator” or “creator.” What are you currently trying to create in your life? I hope it’s something you really want, because you’re getting ready to get a taste of what it means to be a Creatrix, a Creator. Being a Creatrix means we have to take responsibility for our own choices, not something humans enjoy, yes, we’re talking about effect and the cause of the present time effects! It’s always something!
Vesta is the brightest asteroid in the night sky and can be seen with the naked eye! Do you remember the story of the Vestal Virgins? At the height of the Roman Dynasty young girls, age 6, were recruited to be Keeper of the Sacred Flame. This was a very important job since fire was guarded so carefully, because without fire, human life couldn’t exist at that level. These girls would serve 30 years and if they got lazy on the job they were usually punished quite severely through beatings or whippings. During this time period women were nothing more than chattel.
But as a reward for their service they were given special privileges, mainly of NOT having to marry AND they could own property, something their fellow females were forbidden to do. They also had the right to give a person condemned to death freedom if they so chose to. The Vestal Virgins were also responsible, through sacred sexual acts, for bearing Divine Children who would grow up to be King for a limited time period. Thus in Astrology Vesta represents being able to choose of our own free will, the right to our sexual sacredness and what we hold sacred in our life, our focus.
On the 26th Vesta, the Goddess of the Fire enters the sign of fire where She is very powerful, Aries, for a two month visit, until April 30th. Can you feel the lightening in your veins? You will this week if you don’t feel it already. It’s like being 10 feet tall and bulletproff, we can literally move mountains. One of the most interesting facets of the elections here in the US is the issue of contraception. Really? This is an election issue? It’s right on time and when viewed from the big picture point of view the issue comes down to “WHO” can make the choice for a woman about her body? Is she capable? This is but another cog in the Wheel of Fate that spins to lead us out of the darkened ages.
Remember this is the year of the Divine Feminine and who says God doesn’t have a sense of humor? We have Lilith whipping Jupiter into shape in Taurus as She knows She is equal to all men. She was Adam’s first wife, made from “dust of the Earth,” like Adam. We have the Queen of Chaos, Eris in Aries, making waves because She believes She’s been mistreated, and here comes Vesta, the Keeper of the Sacred Flame moving into the sign of “I AM” Aries. Juno will make herself heard in just a few weeks, so that by the time we get to Spring, we will have a real live Estrogen Posse to be reckoned with folks.
And that vision, the thunder and lightening in your veins? That’s Vesta conjunct Uranus, the Rebel with a Cause/Mr. Uncertainty/The Bringer of Serendipity, building to a fever pitch on March 4-5th, when the energy peaks. Vesta is our capacity to integrate and FOCUS energy to bring wholeness to Self. This energy is the Sacred Feminine Creatrix energy that helps us to regenerate and dedicate ourselves to our aspirations, plans and goals, the ones WE choose to follow. Free to choose is the key to working with this energy and if you are not used to choosing for yourself, you will find that you might be forced to make a choice of some kind this week.
It’s time to find your “passion” and trust me, this is some incredibly sexed up energy, as well it should be. Vesta participated in Sacred Sexual Rites in order to produce a Divine Offspring, so pay attention to what you focus your thoughts on, for better or worse, you WILL get it! Our passion can be sexual in nature, especially if you are a practitioner of Tantra, or it could be leaning how to use sexuality for healing purposes. This is after all, the ultimate Sexual Healing energy. It’s the mystery of life and it’s the call of the wild that calls to us to act. And here’s the deal on sexuality, Vesta doesn’t’ need a relationship to enjoy the healing power of sex, there is a healing benefit it the act itself. We can deepen our relationship with our own Spirit. As children we were taught that somehow sex is “dirty, taboo and nasty.” Says who? Just because that’s the way “we’ve always done things” doesn’t mean that’s the way we have to continue into the future. What does your body tell you? The body never lies, the mind will fool us, but the body is truthful.
Uranus and Vesta merging at 3 degrees Aries is a wake-up call to create the Divine Sparks that sets the ball in motion to “take me to the next level.” This energy will be felt personally, locally and globally. Look for news in particular from Egypt, where the women are becoming more involved and more militant in the governing process, they’re just plain fed up. The Afghan people are going to get rather passionate about Bagram AFB (praying for Alanna) and women in the US are about to take a step they’ve been trying to take since 1977 with contraception. Here we go, a course change ahead!
Remember, we’re all Travelers here on Spaceship Earth and we all have to make up our own damn minds and choose for ourselves, that’s it, nothing more nothing less. As Travelers we are part of the Prime Creator’s greatest experiment of Self Expression, Self Discovery and Self Gratification. Why else would we be here on Spaceship Earth?
