Love is a verb, not a noun. Many times people treat “love” as a thing to have, but love is always in motion, it breathes expectancy, not expectation. If there is anything in your life that matters, then everything matters. Erica Jong once said, “take your life in your own hands and what happens? A terrible thing: no one to blame!” Venus rules Libra AND Taurus. They are the natural rulers of the 7th House of “Not Me” AND the 2nd House of “what I own/value.” Opposing these two is the 1st House of “Me” and the 8th House of “what we have or what ‘me’ doesn’t have.” You can have all the love and money in the world, but if there’s nothing to buy and no one to love, what good is it? It’s always something!
Venus vibrates to listening and relating, our INTENT. There are currently over 7 billion points of view on Spaceship Earth. That creates a very big relationship picture. Relationships are a big focus right now (if not they will be around the 15th), globally, locally and personally. We’re not getting (t)here, we’re already here. Venus entered Gemini April 4th and will remain there until August 8th and is asking us “to look at the relationship from another point of view and the power of the words.” A retrograde is an optical illusion (it appears to be going backward from Spaceship Earth’s point of view), thus, it’s time to begin (re)viewing our relationship with love and money. Now we get to see any illusions we might have regarding these two subjects. It is what is unseen.
Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are all in brand new territory and no one alive has experienced these vibrations (except those over 84 who had Uranus in Aries as a child). Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries are creating an undercurrent of tension that says “I don’t like it that you THINK you have power over me so excuse me while I push back on you and your BS. It’s just not working for me anymore. You are obviously mistaken because I am not a member of YOUR herd.”
Neptune in early Pisces is very subtlety pointing out to each Traveler “how I relate to my Prime Creator (insert deity of choice here).” What do you believe about your Creator and how do you relate to IT? It’s about redemption and allowing a force “larger than me” to balance the situation because “I am not in control of others, only my actions. I am part of the MYSTERY of Life.” Have you ever noticed that Christians call Jesus their Lord and King, but when does Jesus ever act like a King? When was the last time Jesus took control of a Christian’s choices? Remember, there is only one reality and it never changes, but there are 7+ billion versions of "reality."
Each traveler’s life is like a symphony with multiple layers creating a very unique song. If you had to give the current status of your relationships a title now, what would the song title be? There’s the percussion section, the woodwinds, the horns, strings and according to the tempo one selects will determine the pace of movement. Are you at the beginning, the middle or the end? Nothing in life ever ends, it merely transforms into a new form. There is a great deal in life that is transforming itself, as above, so below, as within, so without.
On the journey to Gemini Venus chit-chatted with Lilith and Jupiter back in Taurus around March 14th. An agreement was made between “me” AND “not me” about “you know what.” That meeting consisted of discussion of each traveler’s “a-void- dance.” Everybody dances to a different tune, or do they? Jupiter is our Divine Connection. Lilith is the “holder of suppressed anger/enlightenment” and the three discussed how travelers try to take control of the future, the planet and one another. No one can control the future, because it doesn’t exist yet. How little we actually control will be brought front and center during the Rx period, globally, locally and personally. Imagination is a wonderful tool, but without wisdom it is a cruel taskmaster.
Relationship is a tool for healing and teaching. Think about it. Relationship helps us see ourselves as we really are, complete with our thoughts, beliefs and values of what a relationship is and they help us to define “who I am” and “how I relate to me through not me.” We are vulnerable in relationship. External relationships are but a mirror for the turmoil or happiness within, “as within, so without.” In relationship “I see clearly that you are different from me.” That’s a good thing! If everyone was just like “me,” think how boring would that be? We are all perfectly imperfect and if it was meant to be otherwise, it would be. We are all God’s Children!
Now, the “a-void-dance” is going to reveal itself and when it does it will be important to clarify INTENT, our own and others. Do not make assumptions (assumptions are based on previous knowledge or beliefs and most times not true of a current situation). INTENT is VERY important from this point forward. Venus usually moves about a degree a day and between now and the 15th it will only move forward 3 more degrees, so relationships are the FOCUS. It’s the difference between expectations and expectancy. Unmet expectations can destroy the best of relationships. Did you express your expectations clearly? Did everyone agree on the expectations? Or, are we talking about non-verbal expectations? The bigger question and concern is that “expectation” is a noun NOT a verb. The very use of the word IMPLIES power and control over another or a situation. Living in expectancy means that “I am open to receiving love, money and everything else in between.”
Communicating (Gemini) is going to help solve relationship (Venus) issues and help each of us determine where “here” is in this relationship. Step outside "me" and step into "not me's" shoes and watch other's reactions, you will be amazed when it's "not about me." One could ask these kinds of questions to get clarification or another point of view:
“I don't understand why you do (fill in blank), could you explain it to me?”
“I didn't understand what you meant by (what was said), could you help me understand?”
“When you said (whatever was said), did you mean (what you believe was meant)?
“I didn't understand what you meant by (whatever was said), can you explain it differently?”
This is taking responsibility (Saturn in Libra) for relationships and remember that this particular Venus Retrograde is a once in a lifetime event as we actually get to see it eclipse the Sun at 16 degrees Gemini on June 6th. If you birthday is +/- 2 days of this date or December 8th, or you have personal planets and/or sensitive angles at 16 Gemini/Sagittarius, then you will feel this stronger than most. Everyone gets an invitation to this party from the Universe and it promises to change our point of view about “me” and “not me” for the best. June 4th is a big day for relationships (Full Moon Eclipse) as Venus will be at a very tense angle to her partner of choice Mars in Virgo, Mr. Testosterone. All that is happening is building to a crescendo of this meeting. Relationships will begin and some will end, but all of them will change. It’s about balancing that which is inflated/deflated!
If you’re looking for work, without success, how about volunteering for a local charity, like the food bank? It helps knowing a difference is being made and helps on many levels. You’re amazing just the way you are, and no one can make you feel bad without your permission! That’s the truth! Here comes the change! Be kinder to yourself, smile at a stranger and know that everything is exactly right on time!
