A Common Unity – New Moon @ 21 Capricorn

“When your wheelhouse is the land of cotton, the first time you leave it can be strange, it can be shocking.  Not everybody drives a truck, not everybody drinks sweet tea.  Not everybody owns a gun, wears a ball cap boots and jeans.  Not everybody goes to church or watches every nascar race.  Not everybody knows the words to ‘Ring Of Fire’ or “Amazing Grace.”

It’s the first New Moon of 2013, the third of 5 New Moons in a row at 21 degrees and since it’s in Capricorn, Saturn, the Cosmic Timekeeper, is the host of this event.  Saturn in Scorpio is the “Keeper of Reality.”  If the “status quo” is important to you, then prepare for change, because the “status quo” is about to change before your very eyes!  It’s time so experience the Common Unity of Community!

We have the Sun (Soul Essence), Moon (patterned emotional responses to life), Mercury (messenger), Pluto (male personification of God), Juno (marriage/divorce contracts) and Venus (love/money) all gathered for a very important meeting to discuss “terms & conditions” of the new “status quo of our Common Unity/ Community.” 

This is an INTENTIONAL act of ‘spring cleaning’ to be performed!  Spring cleaning means all facets of life, physical, mental, emotional and the spiritual.  Don’t get too carried away though, because if you try to defend yourself (don’t allow anyone to make you believe you have to defend your Being) then you will find yourself backed into a corner as you throw away what you most hold sacred (Juno). 

It’s a packed house in Capricorn (the sign of building AND doing), so it’s time to get grounded, be practical and make space.  The Sun and Moon merge each month to present each of us a monthly moment of Grace, the question is “what will I do with THIS moment of Grace?”  In Capricorn it’s time to plant the “building AND doing seeds.”   We simply begin and any adjustments or change in attitude will be fully presented to us on the next Full Moon on January 27^th.

The 14^th is the day that Mercury reaches 21 Capricorn and delivers news that clears the path for the “building AND doing.”  On the 17^th the Sun and Mercury merge @ 27 Capricorn and the volume of BS gets turned up, so LISTEN (Mercury) closely to everything you hear on this day.  There will be enough posturing by ordinary folks to make a politicians jealous!  Blow off the dust on your expectations the 14^th – 17^th!

 Universe = Uni (one) Verse (song).  One song, yes, we all sing the same song inside.  It’s the song that asks “how can I sustain myself and my family, AND, how can I do this in such a way that supports my brothers and sisters here on Spaceship Earth?”  Saturn in Scorpio calmly alerts us out biggest fear and usually expects and knows the worst that can happen.  It’s time to re-dedicate and re-define HERE!  Is it full of lack, scarcity and fear, AND is there a place of peace within that says “I am ok and it’s time to re-generate ME?”  One’s beliefs define their reality!

Eris, Goddess of Discord/Disruption at 21 Aries (birthday is +/- 2 days of 4/11, 7/14, 10/15 or 1/12, or, you have personal planets at +/- 2 degrees of 21 Aries, you will feel this stronger than most), creating tension with the New Moon.  There is no change without tension.  Eris’ vibration is strong and the function of her vibration is to show us the address of denial.  This is exactly the point where self-belief and ongoing patterns of behavior meet face to face! 

Eris threw the golden apple into a group of shallow, self-absorbed Goddesses and everybody was singing “who let the dogs out” at that party as the shallow bitches fought on the ground (Capricorn) over who was “fairest of all.”  Get the picture?  A great deal of veil-blowing relief is headed our way, but don’t be surprised at how the landscape is changing as we find Common Unity in our Community.  Salvation is found in the most unlikely of places!  Oh my!

And then, there’s one of those tricky Yod’s, called the Finger of God, except this time the Finger of God is pointing at Rx Vesta @ 10 Gemini with Pluto @ 9 Capricorn and Saturn @ 10 Scorpio creating the base.  The Vestal Virgins were the sacred harlots who sexually gave of themselves to strangers, men who came to the temple to honor the goddess and partake of the sacred union during certain seasonal cycles.  They used their sexuality not for their own pleasure, nor to further their own agenda, but rather to bring the fertilizing power of the goddess into contact with human beings.

 If a Vestal Virgin got pregnant during the Sacred Union it was considered a “Divine Child” and had a special place in destiny as a royal successor.  The Vestal’s transmitted the line of royal descent.  Many of the early Roman Kings were born of a Vestal Virgin.  The most famous of these kings was Romulus for whom Rome is named after. 

This is powerful ju-ju, so pay attention.  Pluto and Saturn are working together to build a solid foundation for this new Common Unity, but it’s going to require a great deal of work to make sure that what’s good for “me” is just as good for “you.”  Think of this as “pop quiz” from the Uni (one) Verse (song) to see if we are all singing the same song.  At their worst Pluto/Vesta can bring out sexual compulsion and total self-absorption, and Saturn/Vesta might say “fuck it, this is to much work and responsibility and I don’t see a pay-off for me, so I am not going to participate.”  It’s a conundrum, indeed!  The question is “does this work help me AND my fellow Travelers?”  Remember, building AND doing, just keep going! 

The New Moon is called the Dark of the Moon, because what’s hidden (Moon) comes to light (Sun).  Just to keep it all interesting we have Asteroid Alice at 10 Sagittarius so expect “rabbit holes” as Alice opposes Vesta in Gemini.  What goes around comes around AND understanding that everything is in Divine Right Order at this moment in time.  Alice is “commonsensical,” while Vesta makes us aware of a new multi-dimensional (Jupiter in Gemini) Cosmic Awareness.  This is good stuff!

And speaking of Jupiter in Gemini, the Big Guy is poised to go direct on the 30^th, so he’s about to come to a halt and is currently located at 7 Gemini (direct @ 6 Gemini).  Since the beginning of October Jupiter has re-traced 16 to 6 Gemini, the sign of “both sides of the coin.”  And haven’t we seen the light of duality now?  Indeed we’re all focused on the “coin” now as neither side is better than the other, it’s about the Common Unity! 

Be hopeful, be optimistic AND be willing to see another as an extension of “me.”  That’s the Divine Feminine.  We live on a planet of duality (Gemini) and this will continue to be the experience as we move into a greater sense of personal power, and through that, Common Unity.  Since birth we are taught disconnect from each other, ourselves, stay small, fear lack AND want more. External teachings keep us trapped as a group in a cycle of wanting, needing, feeling loneliness, feeling loss, feeling separation.  Jeez, talk about a vicious cycle! 

BM Lilith is sitting at 13 Gemini and she and Mars at 13 Aquarius bring into vision all of our “blind spots.”  Uh-oh!  Pay attention to various global news services as in the next 4 weeks I expect to see some serious dancing around the issue of Gang Rape and those who have little respect for females.  Lilith is of the opinion that “nature’s laws have been broken and those responsible will be made to pay.”  Look to the house where Gemini and Aquarius reside in your chart, because for that’s where good use of each individual’s incredible willpower can be used to change everything!  Dare to be great and you WILL NOT be disappointed with this vibration.

Expect to see some politicians start doing the back-stroke, oh yes, and don’t worry, because Lilith and Mars are working together for the next 4 weeks and someone could open a can of home-made down-home Whoop-ass!  God help the fool in this pair’s path!  If you discover your own blind spot, then be prepared to take appropriate action and look at whether or not your own expectations were clearly stated or not, can’t blame others for something they didn’t understand was expected.  These 2 have a vision of equality, on all levels.  If your birthday is +/- 2 days of June 4^th or February 2^nd, release ALL inhibitions, your strength will surprise you!  LUCKY YOU!  FEARLESS!

Then we move to the House of Aries, the natural 1^st House of “me, myself and I.”  Aries is in harmony with Gemini and Aquarius and creates tension with Scorpio and Capricorn.  Traditional astrology offers only 2 female representations, the Moon and Venus, but Modern Astrology offers a plethora of Shero’s to help us define our own Peaceful Warrior, the feminine.  Venus and Uranus will create some serious relationship tension (again there can be no change without the tension) on the 12^th at 5 Aries/Capricorn.  Don’t act surprised if someone from the past pops back into your life, and there is a reason the relationship didn’t work the last time.  Refresh your memory in case this looks to good to be true!  Venus in Capricorn is concerned about (re)sources, including but not limited to physical, mental and emotional.  Oh, and the spiritual?

Magdalena @ 5 Aries has a great deal in common with Lilith, as she is the Christian Goddess that represents the repression of the Divine Feminine.  Over the next 4 weeks expect to hear something about one of the world’s religions that has repressed some kind of information.   How cool would it be to see a religion to put itself on trial for the repression of information?  I don’t expect that to happen, but something is coming.  At this degree Magdalena is going to celebrate being alive and being in her sensuous body.  There are many surprises coming and the thought of living with misogyny is not an option for much longer.

 Pallas Athene entered Aries on 1/2/13 and on January 28^th will merge with Uranus @ 5 Aries.  She was born of her father’s head, so her emotional make-up isn’t quite like Venus.  Instead she is a Warrior and when these two co-mingle their vibrations expect nothing less than creative genius wherever 5 Aries is located in your chart.  In Aries, she is a Seer, trusting herself completely to KNOW.  Expect psychodrama and/or mental healing.

Welcome to 2013 and this is the 3^rd of 5 New Moons at 21 degrees.  Our “minds” can’t handle that much change that quickly, so the Uni (one) Verse (song) is teaching us ALL how to sing “one song” called Common Unity, Community.   The only way to do is to reach way out beyond your “comfort zone” and stretch yourself beyond what you thought was possible for you individually.  One step at a time, nothing is overwhelming any of us, except our own ego’s, so don’t get sucked in.  2013 is going to be a great year!  TRUST YOURSELF, and follow your own voice in your feminine heart, it knows where it’s going.
